Justin and Adalie’s pre-wedding couple’s session at the Provo Castle Amphitheater was absolutely magical! We started with Justin’s exciting first look at Adalie in her wedding dress, followed by a romantic photo shoot among the castle’s stunning stone walls, wooden doors, staircases, and turrets.
Located on the Utah State Hospital grounds, this unique Utah wedding photo location offers an old-world, storybook feel that’s perfect for bridals and groomals. A small reservation fee is required, which also allows access to other beautiful spots on the property — including the nearby orchards.
The amphitheater floor can be a little dusty (brides, be mindful of your dress!), but the romantic, castle-like backdrop is worth it for the timeless photos you’ll get. The combination of architecture, texture, and light makes the Provo Castle Amphitheater one of my favorite hidden gems for Utah couples’ photography.
